Unlike new mid-century style furniture, every piece we sell is an original from the 1950s-70s. These aren’t reproductions or modern interpretations – they’re the real thing: heavier, better-built, and made with solid teak, rosewood, or oak rather than veneered chipboard. The craftsmanship, joinery, and materials simply aren’t replicated in today’s mass-produced alternatives.

Every item is carefully selected by us – sourced, handled, and assessed individually rather than bought in bulk or styled for trends. We look for furniture that was made properly from the outset: solid construction, thoughtful joinery, and designs that still feel relevant decades on. These are pieces with substance – the sort that quietly outlast everything around them.

Restoration is kept honest and sympathetic. We don’t over-modernise or erase the past; instead, we focus on bringing each piece back into everyday use while preserving its original character.
